How Worldict works
A parimutuel prediction market: no bookmaker, no house edge on the odds. Just one shared pool per market, settled and paid out on Solana.

STEP 02
Pick a market
Every match carries 29 markets: the result, the exact score, both-teams-to-score, over 2.5 goals, man of the match, and for all twelve listed players whether they score and exactly how many. Brackets and the champion are futures markets.
STEP 03
Stake on-chain
Your bet is a real Solana transaction: the stake transfers into the market escrow, alongside a tiny marker transfer to an address derived from your chosen outcome, so what you backed is provable from the chain itself. The backend independently verifies the confirmed transaction before your bet counts.
STEP 04
Settle & get paid
When the result is in, winners split the entire pool minus a 3% fee, pro-rata to their stake. Payouts are sent straight to your wallet as on-chain transfers, and both transactions are linked from My Bets.

A concrete example
Say the "Mbappé to score: Yes" pool holds 2 SOL and the No pool holds 3 SOL. You stake 1 SOL on Yes.

your share = 1 / (2 + 1) = ⅓
your payout = 5.82 × ⅓ = 1.94 SOL (1.94×)
If he scores, the treasury sends you 1.94 SOL on-chain. If not, your stake stays in the pool and is shared by the No backers.
Questions
How are the odds set?＋
Markets are parimutuel, meaning there is no bookmaker. The displayed multiplier is simply the whole pool divided by the money on your outcome (after the 3% fee). Each market opens with seed liquidity placed by a Poisson goal model built from team strength, so early prices are sensible; after that, the crowd moves them with every bet.
Can my payout change after I bet?＋
Yes, that's the nature of pool betting. Money arriving on your outcome dilutes the multiplier; money on other outcomes raises it. The bet slip always shows your odds including your own stake's impact, and My Bets records the odds at the moment you bet.
What exactly settles a goalscorer market?＋
The results oracle records each player's goal count. "To score" settles Yes with one or more goals. "How many goals" settles on the exact count: 0, 1, 2, or 3+ (own goals don't count, extra-time goals in knockouts do).
Where does my money actually go?＋
To the market treasury escrow on Solana. You can follow your stake transaction on the explorer from My Bets. At settlement, the treasury pays winners. The platform keeps the 3% fee, nothing else.
What happens if I bet right before kickoff?＋
Markets close at kickoff. A transaction confirmed after closing is rejected by the backend and your transfer would be refunded by the oracle operator. Bet a little early to be safe.
